Thanksgiving

We hosted Thanksgiving at our home this year.  We have a lot to be grateful for but J-Man enjoyed the holiday the most.  He recently outgrew his wheat allergy and could help in the preparations and consumption of the Thanksgiving Feast.
Fabric I that caught my eye to make napkins

Pumpkin Napkin Rings the kiddo's helped me make out of clay.

Pin right sides together
topstich around the edges

Leave a gap to turn right side out

Trim the corners so the point will be sharp when you turn it right side out.

They did a good job.

Apple Pie Jam
My first attempt at making and botteling jam.
It tastes just like apple pie.

Mashed Potatoes

Turkey in the oven bag

We had a wonderful time eating and spending time with friends.  We had a person come with his sister, this was his first Thanksgiving ever.  He ate only the Mashed Potatoes and Turkey.  He was not sure what to make of the rest since he just recently arrived in the US from Gabon.  We had fun playing Blockus and found out that some of us are extremely competitive.  Over all Thanksgiving was a success.  We are greatful to be a loving family and to share with others.

The Big 5

J-Man is the Big 5 now!
Here is some of the fun he had at his Birthday Party.

J-Man requested a Wow Wow Wubbzy Cake

Here is my drawing of the cake before I made it

It was a super cool monster truck.
He insists that Grandma created it herself.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Necklace

J-Man and Mr. Mr. wanted something fun to do Saturday morning
so I gave them some dental floss and a cup full of Froot Loops.
They created colorful Breakfast Necklaces.
