My Super Heros

J-Man and Mr. Mr. had spent some time in the backyard

running through the sprinklers after our day of running errands. 

They had gotten superhero's in their kids meals at lunch.

So when it was time to dry off

 J-Man wanted his towel to be a cape

and the nerf vest to be his shield and

the bungee cords to be his superpowers

to get the bad guy's

Easter is Today, Hooray!

We attended Church this morning at 8:00 am,

I sang in the choir and J-Man came to sing next to me.

It was a great time, in singing time (I am the Primary Chorister)

the children sang to the daisies (aka service flowers)

while I put food dye in the water. 

The flowers changed colors as they sang,

and they sang their little hearts out. 

Afterward I delivered the flowers to a family

who just recently had a tragedy and

it brightened up their day.

When we came home from church, the Easter Baskets

were waiting and the Easter Egg Hunt began

I-Man surprised me, I didn't know he would be

excited about finding the eggs but

he made it so fun for everyone.

Coloring Easter Eggs 2012

On Saturday we colored Easter Eggs

Here are some pics of our colorful adventure

Mr. Mr. tried to color one egg with markers

but crushed it with his hand and ate it before

I had a chance to take a picture of it.

He put it in each color about 5 times.

He thought it would turn black, I think it looks pretty cool.

I-Man got pretty creative with his eggs.

J-Man colored even more eggs.

This is my cool egg I made by wrapping it with rubber bands.

J-Man wanted to make an egg as dark blue as possible.

Adventure Walk - Spring Has Sprung

 We decided to take an adventure walk

because the weather was so beautiful on Friday.

We left around 8:30 am and headed on our

one mile adventure to the park.

We saw one rabbit and lots of

different kinds of birds such as quails and hawks.

The desert plants have started blooming

and J-Man picked one of each kind of flower he could find.

All the wild desert flowers he picked on the way to the park

J-Man walked the whole way to the park for the first time.

It took about an hour to get there but I was proud of him.

They played at the playground with other

kids and played with the dogs that came as well.

It was quite hot walking back home but it was

fun to field all of J-Man's questions about nature.
