J-Man had his Allergy Testing appointment yesterday
to find out the level of severity of his food allergies.
J-Man has packed the essentials for the doctors appointment
Epipen, Dinosaurs and Fruit Snacks.
Mr. Mr. is ready too, Diapers, Wipes, Dinosaurs and Fruit Snacks
He is going to play at his friend's house while we go to the doctor
J-Man was nervous that it was going to hurt,
but we played eye spy, 20 questions and
named all the characteristics of plant eating dinosaurs
while waiting for the doctor to start the test.
The Allergy test, for Wheat, Peanuts, Tree Nuts and Fish
He was very brave and then came the
Good News: J-Man is no longer allergic to Wheat, Tree Nuts or Fish except Tuna
Bad News: He is still severely allergic to Peanuts and
thereby must be managed by an epipen.
All the way home J-Man was so excited that he can have fish.
He can go fishing and eat the fish he catches and
he can have telapia when Noure cooks it on Sundays.
Then J-Man asked if we could make "Melted Chicken Pizza" for dinner.
I tried to explain that chicken can't melt, but as usual he was
determined to explain how it can melt and how we will make it.
1 loaf of bread dough, defrosted, split between
the children and ready to make pizza crust.
We baked just the crust for 15 minutes
Then we added the sauce (tomato sauce, cilantro and coriander powder),
chicken chunks(Freeze Dried reconstituted) and slices of ham
Garnish with Spinach
Cheese on top of J-Man's pizza
I-Man creating his pizza
Hot and Ready to Eat
Did the chicken melt? Yes, in our mouths and it tasted pretty good.
Mr. Mr. mostly just ate the spinach salad on his plate
On Monday we will meet with the Principle at the elementary school
to see how J-Man can manage his allergies in the classroom.
I hope it will be possible, but if not we will enroll him in an online charter school.
So we end with The Good, The Bad and The Yummy!
YIPPEE!!!! THAT IS WONDERFUL!!!!
