Family Trip to Utah - Part 2 Baby Blessing

On Sunday we visited with my Mom and Sister in the morning in the hotel room.
They had worked through the night emroidering shoes special for Little Miss's big day.

Grandpa's 60th Birthday just happened to be that day as well

We had a BBQ and gave him a super chocolatey cake

Chris Ralston took the photos for us after we came home.
Thanks Chris.

Grandma is putting on the shoes she made for her

It didn't show very well but it had her blessing date embroidered on the bottom.

The shoes were a little snug but they worked for the day

My Dad Blessed her at my Brother Wes's house

I wanted to get a picture with all three boys and they thought I said play dead.

She announced that she is expecting, she has three boys and is hoping for a girl as well.

Driving back the sun was a magenta color, it was amazing

We had to visit our friends Faye and Collins and family

Mr.Mr. ready for the ride to St. George, Utah
We made it to St. George early evening, took a dip in the pool,
even Little Miss then went to dinner at the Golden Corral.

J-Man was pretty sick in the morning with some sort of Flu bug but we packed up,
(took the ice bucket from the room for J-Man to vomit in)
and headed home via Zion's National Park.

Before we left we had to stop at the Judd's candy store, it is not the same as I remember from my childhood but we did get some 10 cent taffy.   I was also hoping to get a picture of the old auditorium where I learned to play violin and was also played in the children's orchestra, however they are renovating the building to become a children's museum and have removed the auditorium.  I am kind of sad because in my memory I can still see the old wood chairs with the red velvet cushions and the heavy smell of wood varnish and rosin.

Noure and Me in Zion's the little kids were sleeping so we didn't wake them up.

We drove the lower loop 89A to see the Vermillion Cliffs

We arrived home close to midnight.  It was fun to visit family.
It is good to be home.
